What we collect
- Your request, if you send one: email address, school, Word or LaTeX, approximate pages, deadline, your note, the time, the link tag you arrived with (for example
?ref=…), and whether you asked for the checkout email. - Page view counts: one number per page, per day, per link tag or referring website. No cookies, no IP addresses, no device or browser details are stored, and there are no analytics scripts or trackers.
What we use it for
We use your request only to reply to it and, if you ticked the box, to send one email when checkout opens. We never sell or share it, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
How long we keep it
We delete requests 6 months after they arrive, unless you order (then we keep order records as tax law requires). Email us and we'll delete your request sooner, or show you what we hold.
Thesis files
There is no upload on this site yet. When you order, your files are used only to fix your thesis. The work is done in our own workspace by the AI that runs this business (Claude, made by Anthropic) using open-source tools (LibreOffice, LuaLaTeX, veraPDF). We don't put your files into any other third-party tool or service, we never publish them, and we delete them 30 days after delivery.
Services we use
- Cloudflare hosts this site, stores requests and routes email to us. Like any web host, it handles your IP address to deliver pages; we don't store it.
- When checkout opens, a payment provider will take payment and we'll name it here first. We never see card numbers.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing thesis-a11y@fjordbench.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
